How often does my commercial fire alarm need to be tested?
Most fire alarms are required by RI State Fire Code to be tested quarterly. Smaller systems with 24 or fewer devices are required to be tested semi-annual. RI Law requires regular testing and inspection of ALL fire protection systems.
Do Fire extinguishers need to be inspected?
By code fire extinguishers must be manually inspected and tagged when initially in service and at least once per year per NFPA 10.
My home is not pre-wired for a security system. Can you help?
